Maddie, Co-Owner & Trainer
I was born and raised in New Orleans, where I have come to learn and master the work-hard, play-hard mentality. In order to do the fun things in life, we have to be willing to do the hard things first. It’s all about balance, right…especially living in New Orleans!
I got started in my fitness career by getting AFAA certified and training people out of my garage after having my first daughter. Once that grew, I leased a small space, opened a gym and started group training. From there, I met Casey, who shared my passion, and that’s how Girl Crush got started! We are like-minded women who both love to “Crush It” in the gym and in life!
I am married to my husband, Tommy, who is also part of the Girl Crush Maintenance Crew 🤣…thank God for handy husbands! We have two daughters, Amelia (8), and Andie (5). We both believe in raising our smart, beautiful girls to be strong and independent women who know that with hard work, anything is possible. We strive to set good examples for them every day and always leave them saying, “treat others how you want to be treated” and “be a good Friend.”
I consider myself to be one of those lucky few who has been able to turn my passion into a way of making a living! I love waking up every day and helping people, especially women, find their inner bad ass. I love to see them enjoy working out in order to live a healthy life. I also think it is important to teach them that “me” time is a necessary thing in order to be the best we can be for ourselves and for our families and that coming to Girl Crush is a great way to accomplish that. At Girl Crush, you get to make friends, get healthy and find a community of strong women who have your back at all times!
I am so proud of what Girl Crush has grown to be and what the future holds for us. We could not have done it without our awesome family, friends, coaches and members…and to them I will be forever grateful for helping our vision and dream come to life! We are just getting started and ready to continue to “Crush It Every Damn Day”!
